A Market is celebrating our 40th anniversary. We are a second generation, independently owned and operated grocery established in 1970 to promote the concept of healthy living. Wholesome and organic foods create the foundation of our store, while homeopathics, herbal and vitamin supplements offer reliable healthcare alternatives.

General Manager
Kirk
-- Kirk is the General Manager and is responsible for all operational aspects of both A Market stores in Manchester, NH and Newport, RI. All Store Managers report directly to Kirk. If you have a problem that you have been unable to resolve at either of our stores, please contact Kirk.

Vice President
Stephanie
-- Stephanie literally grew up at A Market, which was founded by her parents in 1970. Following her Father‘s retirement, Stephanie and her husband, Kirk, have taken over the everyday operation of the store. Stephanie is in charge of all administrative aspects of the company including financial, marketing and human resources.

HABA Manager/Coordinator
Sarah
-- Sarah has been with A Market for 6 1/2 years. She coordinates the HABA department for both store locations. She is a vital part of our HABA department, committed to providing high quality supplements. Sarah is the Front End Manager at the Manchester store, working with the cashiers to provide the best customer service possible. She is knowledgeable and willing to offer her expertise. Sarah has an undergraduate degree in Biology & Nutrition and is studying to become a Registered Dietician.

Grocery Manager
Matt
-- Matt came to A Market in March 2006 with almost 10 years experience in the natural foods industry. He is responsible for managing all employees in grocery, frozen, refrigerated, and bulk departments. He oversees product selection, and merchandising for all products within these departments, too. He is always ready to help you with any questions, you may have about our products.

-- Meegan has been with A Market since 1995. She has a love and passion for the beauty & quality of our produce department. Her team takes pride in creating an exciting display of only the freshest organic fruits and vegetables, including local items, too. Meegan works diligently to provide affordable produce items. She is willing to answer any and all of your questions.

Specialty Foods Manager
David
-- DJ has been with A Market since Sept. 2001. He is responsible for selecting our specialty beer, wine and gourmet cheeses. He takes great pride in choosing only the highest quality products for your enjoyment. DJ is also our resident "IT guy", responsible for the overall maintenance of our in-house network.

RETURN POLICY
We offer 100% satisfaction on all products. Please save your receipt to be given a refund, otherwise we will give you an in store credit.

SPECIAL ORDERS
We encourage you to let us special order products for you. Because we cannot stock all products, we are happy to order your favorite products for you. Please note that many grocery items must be purchased in case quantities. All cases must be pre-ordered and will be discounted 20%. See staff for more details or any questions.
